I popped a pimple (or two) and now my face is marked, can you suggest a healing skin treatment or beauty mask?
Don't use masks or makeups like foundation, that just clogs your pours more and causes more pimples. Sure it's nice to cover it up, but that's only a temporary solution that will make your skin worse over time. I would suggest putting some neosporin on the popped pimple and wait for it to heal. Instead of popping pimples, you can use toothpaste to dry out pimples, perhaps before you go to bed so no one sees paste on your face. Also, if you HAVE to pop pimples, you need to not use your nails. Don't use bare hands either, there are so many germs on hands that you're just putting that nasty stuff right into your face. Use some latex gloves. Also make sure to get UNDER the pimple and push it up and out. If you push in on the sides of it, you irritate it and squeeze the pimple's oil all under your skin, then you've got an even bigger problem. If you can't get UNDER the pimples, you need to leave it alone, otherwise you're just causing damage to your skin. For a year now i noticed that i have 2 beauty marks on my face. There not moles there flat black dots, two of them popped up. No there not acne scars or any scars. I've looked at old pictures of me and i don't have them. I looked at pictures from a year ago and i don't have them. I can't say when i noticed them. one is below my right eye the other is above my right brow. Where did they come from since i wasn't born with them? Even if u don't spend a lot of time in the sun, UV rays penetrate through clouds, you car windows, etc. Use a moisturizer and makeup that contain some SPF! Trust me, I'm aged. I look older than I really am. And am barely now taking care of my skin. I have noticed a difference in my skin, no more freckles appearing. But yeah, do you watch What Not to Wear on TLC? The makeup lady does this: use a creamy or off-white colored eyeshowder and apply it to the inside corner of the eyes, along the outer part inside the brow/above the crease, and along your cheekbones.Any make up or beauty tips on how to make my features and eyes pop?
OK, I'd say for eyes you should have:
*Decent, black eyeliner. Buy one with a sharpener that comes with it, and keep it sharp so the line isn't too thick.
*Your basic black or dark brown mascara
*Green eyeshadow or eyeliner for when you want some color. Since you have brown eyes (or it looks like you do from the pics) green will make them ';pop';. If you want to play the scene look get neon green.
For lips just have some lip balm that has a nice scent. Lip gloss or lipstick doesn't work well with the look I think you're going for.
As for foundation buy a translucent or transparent powder, probably medium, and I'd suggest Physician's Formula brand for that.
I like your hair as it is, though if you wanted to dye it or something a warm black (NOT bluish black, it wouldn't work with you natural skin tone) would probably look nice. Try using volumizing shampoo/conditioner for you bangs.

i think a dramatic eye will look really nice on you. you can try smoky colors and different shades of silver and black liquid liner on top brought out passed the corners of your eye. also i think it would look nice if you played around with colors too since you look young enough to pull it off. like some darker purple with bright blue or green, but still kinda darker/smoky. good lengthening mascara is key for this too. also if you wanted to look a little softer, tame down the eyeshadow and soften the edges of you r hair by curling and stacking it.

I'm 16 and falling into the death trap of today's pop magazine's portrayal of beauty and perfection.
I know it's wrong and dumb, and it makes me sick that I'm letting myself fall victim to this sick monster of vanity and (pseudo-)glamour, but it's happening anyway.
I suppose being 118lbs (5'4) isn't considered fat, but I still feel fat. Fat, ugly, disgusting.
I look in the mirror and want to vomit.
I know that as soon as possible, I will get plastic surgery (nose job, fat removed from thighs, boob job, etc.), and I don't care about the risks, the money, anything.
The thing is, I know that it's sick, and the whole thing just disgusts me, but that's not stopping it.
I don't know what my question is exactly.
I just don't want to be one of ';those girls';.

I have had thoughts similar to this, but what helped me was finding someone that I genuinely admired, inside and out. I thoguht they were beautiful (in a healthy, classical way), intelligent, and an independent thinker. I chose someone who knew what they were all about and always had a sense of purpose in their step. And every now and then, if I feel like I'm about to take a fall into that superficial world, I stop and think and say, ';is this what the person I admire would do? Absolutely not.'; I love to read and although the person I admire is a fictional character, it still works. I for one think it's great that you're not like everyone else on this planet, or rather, you don't want to be like everyone else. Everyone looks different, so why should beautiful only get to look one certain way?
You do need help with this. Ring one of the hospitals and speak to the eating disorders unit am am sure they will point you in the right direction and tell how concerned you should be. The longer you leave this the harder it will be to overcome.
My advice, find yoursef a nerd boyfriend. They may not be up there in the social ladder but they are the best at bringing up your selfesteem.
It's a personal thing. All the advice in the world won't help you with finding inner acceptance.
The good thing is that you recognize that you're wrong when you think like that.
You're probably going to have to wait some time for someone to type a long, drawn out prophetic answer, if that's what you're looking for.

I am looking for a short film about beauty, where a head pops out of a box and mimicks what it sees on a tv?
The video begins with a head popping out of a box, as a tv turns on with a womans face on it. Then mechanical arms pop out of the box and begin applying makeup, and when it finishes the tv blurs and moves away and a new face comes on it. The process continues until the head in the box falls over and shatters. I know this has to be a fairly popular video, I just cant think of the name of it for the life of me! Like in Host Club, when Bisco Hatori said that Tamaki's hair color is actually like...brown or light brown or something like that (different in the anime though...) instead of blonde. A manga similar to Beauty Pop?
Now that Beauty Pop is officially over, I can't help but want more. I wish the series could have been longer but unfortunately the series only consists of 10 books. Let's hope Kiyoko Arai starts a new series...and soon!

I'm currently into Honey and Clover by Chica Umino. I've only read a few volumes of it so far, but I think it's really funny and cute. Hana-Kimi is amazing. It's by Hisaya Nakajo. I was totally hooked on that one and got everyone I know into it too. It's hilarious. It has 20-something volumes, though. I loved Backstage Prince by Kanoko Sakurakoji. it's only 2 volumes but it is really unique and interesting. Lastly, I like this Korean manwha called Chocolat. It reminds me a lot of Beauty Pop in some ways. Very interesting.

-A normal girl goes to a school filled with rich people, gets mistaken for a boy, and gets into a club for entertaining girls. Comedy+cute guys+awesomeness=love.
Crimson Hero -- A girl likes volleyball and falls in love with this volleyball player who is uber hot. Modern day. I'm currently following this myself. No H whatsoever.
Romeo x Juliet -- Set in a medieval time period and has the basic characters and beginning of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare except this has flying horses and an evil warlord who wants to dominate the city. I've read the first few volumes but I never got the time to finish it.
Ichigo 100% aka Strawberry 100% -- A kid named Manaka meets this beautiful girl in strawberry panties and wants to make a movie with her as the star. It is placed in modern time and is very emotional. the characters are quite beautiful in my opinion. In fact, this manga is one of my all time favorites. It's suggestive but not graphic. Erementar Gerad -- Set in some time frame with a futuristic setting, yet with characters that are pirates and warlords. It's fantasy and very nice. Not sci-fi though. It's about this young skypirate who sucks at everything and one day, finds this girl who is sealed inside a treasure chest It turns out that the girl is gifted with being able to turn into weapons. I really liked this series but the manga is still being subbed.
Busou Renkin -- Set in real time, it's about a guy who sees a girl that is about to get jumped. He dies trying to save her life. Turns out that she is part of a special organization that uses these special stones as weapons. The girl uses one of these special stones as a substitute for the guy's heart. He lives, she lives. To-Love-Ru -- It's more ecchi but it's not hentai. It's about this alien girl who goes to earth because she is being chased by her father to do homework. DearS -- This guy finds a girl on the streets and they connect with one another so the girl becomes the slave of the guy. However, the girl turns out to be an alien who is part of the race that crash landed off the coast of Japan a year ago. The name of the race literally translates to dears which they define as someone whom one loves and cares about a lot. This is also another one of my favorites next to Ichigo 100% A little suggestive at times but no **** or vags.
Suzuka -- It's set in modern day and is about a guy who is trying to get himself into a good high school by working at his relative's apartment complex. He meets this really cute girl and falls in love with her and asks her out. However, she declines and he tries again and again and again. Really funny, moving, emotional, and a great read.
